Terms and Conditions - Referee

1. Applicants must register to become a Friends2Thailand “Referee” by completing the necessary forms or online. They will be assigned a specific Member Number on successful application.
2. A minimum of fifteen (15) “Friends” (Non-Thai Nationals) adult return tickets must be purchased, paid in full and issued for the “Referee” to receive the reward ticket. Note the following will not be accepted.
   
   i) Any bookings made prior to the registration of the “Referee” will not be accounted towards the tally of “Friends”.
   ii) Bookings made in the name of the “Referee” will not be qualified as one of the minimum fifteen adult return tickets required to obtain the prize.
   iii) If passenger/customer neglects to inform us of the Member Number it will not be accredited to the “Referee”.
   iv) If the passenger name is Thai, it will not be considered an eligible booking.
3. All taxes, security surcharges and fuel surcharges will be the responsibility of the recipient of the reward ticket. This will be payable to WestEast Travel Ltd on the finalisation of the travel dates of the passenger’s booking.
4. Each “Referee” is only permitted to register once and is entitled to win only a single prize ticket regardless of the number of passengers they introduce if the number exceeds fifteen (15).
5. The choice of airline will be restricted to the one chosen by WestEast Travel Ltd.
   
   i) The agreed condition of the prize ticket would be either indirect/direct flight from London to Bangkok.
   ii) Domestic UK flights are not included, it is the passenger’s responsibility to make own way to their departure airport in London.
   iii) It will be in economy class cabin.
   iv) The ticket is not upgradeable.
   v) The ticket is non refundable.
   vi) Passenger agrees to abide by the restrictive conditions of the ticket.
   vii) The ticket is non-transferable and only the “Referee” is eligible to travel on the prize ticket.
   viii) The ticket cannot be exchanged as a cash alternative.
   ix) Travel must be completed by 31st December 2009.
6. This campaign is open to all UK Residents only, entrant must be aged eighteen (18) years or above. Employees of associated organisations (WestEast Travel Ltd, The Tourism Authority of Thailand), their families, agents or anyone professionally associated with either of the parties cannot apply. Any application found submitted violating this rule will find their application annulled and voided with immediate effect. Future participation in any promotional campaigns/prize award schemes will be blocked.
7. The closing date for the campaign is the 30th September 2009 all “Friends” bookings will have to be made before this closing date. All “Friends” must travel (departure UK) by the 31st December 2009 in order to be an eligible “Friends” booking for the “Referee”.
8.  Deadline for “Referee” to claim their prize ticket is 30th November 2009 with all flight confirmations and relevant costs paid in full. Failure to do so will result in lost of entitlement to the prize ticket.
9. The prize ticket is not available during July/August, December and over any period that would include a UK Bank Holiday.
10.  All elements of the prize are subject to availability.
11. It is the passengers’ responsibility to ensure eligibility to travel and contact the relevant authority in regards to the validity of their Passport and VISA/Health requirements for the entry to Thailand.
12. The prize winner will agree to participate in Events associated to Friends2Thailand and accept their appearance maybe published and shown in Media.
13. Passenger/Prize winners are subject to the air carrier’s terms and conditions, as well as the booking conditions of WestEast Travel Ltd. This can be found on the related air carrier and company’s website.
14. Entrants are deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them when registering for this campaign.
15. WestEast Travel Ltd reserves the right to change or substitute any parts of the prize and conditions where we see fit without advertisement or notification.
16. Our Liability - We will not be liable for any compensation if the personal injury, illness or death does not result from any fault on our part, or on the part of our suppliers but is due to your fault or the actions of someone unconnected with your holiday, or to an unusual and unforeseen circumstance beyond our control, which neither we, nor our suppliers could have anticipated. In respect of carriage by air and the provision of accommodation, our liability will be limited in the manner provided by the relevant international convention.
17.  Personal Injury (unconnected to travel arrangements) - We cannot accept responsibility if any passengers suffers death, accidental illness or personal injury whilst overseas arising out of an activity outside of our travel arrangements.

Terms and Conditions – Friends

1. Referred “Friends” will agree to the general booking conditions of WestEast Travel Ltd when they make their booking with us. This can be found on www.westeasttravel.com/terms.
2. Any confidential information in regards to flight bookings will not be disclosed to the “Referee” or to other parties.
3. WestEast Travel Ltd cannot accept any responsibility or be held liable for information relating to the referred passengers/customers, if they disclose their information to a third party including the referrer.
4. Booking cancellations made by the “Friends” who participate in the campaign will be held as credit for future travel to Thailand.
5.  WestEast Travel Ltd reserves the right to change or substitute any parts of the prize and conditions where they see fit without advertisement or notification.
